what it is

An esim with no signup. No account, no email, nothing. Pick a country, pay a Lightning invoice, scan the QR, and you're online. Plans start at $0.99 and cover 200+ countries. They also sell a no-log VPN and disposable phone numbers for the sites that demand an SMS code, and they run an onion mirror. Pay in bitcoin, Lightning or Monero. Ask them what they know about you and the name answers for them: nada, nada.

in the field

Six months of daily use around Asia. I land in a new country, buy a plan while the plane is still taxiing, scan, and I'm online before the seatbelt sign goes off. Think about what buying a SIM used to mean for a second: queue at the counter, hand over your passport, get registered in a telco database you'll never see and can't leave. Now it's a QR code. Speeds have been good everywhere I've been.

what you're trusting

Their no-log claim, same as with any VPN or esim seller. I run sensitive things encrypted anyway, and so should you. The esim is data only - no local phone number - and their disposable numbers cover the odd SMS verification when something demands one. You pay more per GB than a local KYC SIM. Fine by me.

verdict

Six months, a lot of borders, and no telco knows my name. Freedom tech ftw!
